Tina Naidoo, MSSW, LCSW, is the executive director of the Texas Offenders Reentry Initiative (T.O.R.I.). Founded by Bishop T.D. Jakes, T.O.R.I. has addressed the needs of over 30,000 returning citizens throughout the state of Texas since 2005. Over 25 years, Mrs. Naidoo developed a clinically-designed, comprehensive 12-month program that leads to self-sufficiency for returning citizens that are motivated to change. It is a model that has been a key component in combating recidivism and re-offense. Her work with T.O.R.I. has made her a trusted voice in the criminal justice reform system, receiving many awards including the 2016 White House Champion of Change, and has transformed T.O.R.I. into a true force for change and relief for ex-offenders. Overall, her most valued treasures are those found in her role as a loving wife to Attorney Shaun Naidoo and proud mom to three beautiful children.
